Jamie Mendoza - Studio Director and Instructor
Jamie, a homeschooling mom of two, has had a love of sewing ever since she was a little girl. From embroidery and sewing doll clothes to now making clothes for herself and her two girls, sewing has been a passion of hers for almost her entire life.
She now has a particular interest in vintage sewing and patterns, especially those from the 1940's-1950's, and has a large collection of antique patterns that she loves to use and design from! She decided to open Sew Happy to provide a place for kids and adults to learn to sew in a fun and close-knit (no pun intended) environment and discover the joy of creating! Jamie is excited to meld her love of teaching (she was a teacher and tutor for many years) and her love of sewing. 😊
